1. Lenticular plates

Lenticular plates, namely cylindrical lens lenticular plates, emerged in 1930. It's made of PS ( polystyrene ) plates or Acrylic plates, with strong third dimension, high transparency, water proof , resisting against chemical corrosion

2. The features of lenticular plate

The plate is easy to color, odorless, tasteless and nontoxic. It's rigid, insulative, and high transparent and photic, light in weight, strong break-resistant, high mechanical strength and toughness, heat-resistant, aging-resistant, also resistant to organic acid, alkali, salt and lower alcohols.

Lenticular FAQ: Post-process:When many clients talk about lenticular image (lenticular pictures), the main concern is a variety of design effects, such as 3D effects, 2D changing effects, and so on. In fact, no matter what means of the design and output, correctly choosing lenticular material and accurately setting the lenticular parameters is the key to ensure the success of lenticular image.
Ink-jet printer and off-set printer use the different lenticular materials. Ink-jet printers (including wide-format photo machine) used such lenticular material as low density (60Lpi, 40Lpi, 30Lpi or less), hard texture  (thickness above 1.5mm) and it is suitable for small quantities of personalized production. The lenticular printed by off-set printer is high-density (75Lpi or above), elastic texture (thickness in 0.89mm or less), suitable for large quantities of print production.
lenticular image's visual distance depends on the lenticular material density : the higher the lenticular density is, the shorter the visual distance of distance image is; the lower the lenticular density is, more far the visual distance of lenticular image is .
The lenticular materials that are used by 3D lenticular image and 2D lenticular image are also different: The lenticular material of 3D lenticular image use thicker materials, but 2D changing lenticular image use thinner materials.
Lenticular lenticular is also different from Slit lenticular.  Slit lenticular needs a strong light to show better results, while the lenticular image has no such restriction.
lenticular parameters mainly refers to the lenticular density or the lenticular pitch. If the lenticular parameters are not accurate, they will not be able to ensure that the output image is matching with lenticular materials, thus it will affect the imaging quality.
There are some specialized 3D image / Variable Chart Design software with an advanced lenticular test function which can accurately test and use a variety of lenticular material (including lenticular sheet, lenticular film; lenticular lenticular and slit lenticular, etc.), so that the designers can quickly and accurately identify  lenticular parameters of a variety of lenticular materials and ensure the success of lenticular images design.
